A cop was arrested after shooting an unarmed woman six times in a fit of rage on the highway.

Copperas Cove police  officer Eric Stoneburner is charged with aggravated assault in the shooting of Lecresha Murray. Murray says she was shot six times by the officer for no reason. Murray and the officer got into an argument as she drove herself to the hospital on Sunday. Police say the officer followed her in his personal vehicle and then started tailgating her after she made a U-turn in the middle of the road. According to the police chief, the officer resigned just before turning himself in. The woman says she didn't threaten the officer and didn't do anything else to offend him. He just opened fire on her for no reason. "I started feeling sick. I started feeling ill, "Murray says. An Off-duty cop shoots an innocent woman on the way to the hospital, but he is not charged.

Lecresha Murray says she was feeling sick so she decided to drive herself to the hospital. She says an off-duty cop followed her in his personal vehicle and began tailgating her. Murray says the officer shot at her six times, despite her being unarmed. The officer has yet to be arrested, despite shooting Murray six times. The cop has not been charged with a crime. "He just started shooting, all I could do was lean over and he hit me six times," Murray said. "I didn't do anything. He just opened fire for no reason, "she said. "I'm a victim that got shot by an off-duty police officer that did not identify himself," she added. "For no reason, I didn't approach him, didn't threaten him. I didn't do any of the things I did, "she told KWTX. "As soon as I did that, he pulled a gun, he pulled the gun," the officer continued to shoot at her.
