Cops Thought They Got Away With Stealing $620K from Cannabis Farm, But Court Forced Them to Return It

Medical marijuana has been legal in California for over two decades, since 1996. Recreationally, California voters approved the Adult Use of Marijuana Act (Proposition 64), in November 2016, legalizing it for everyone else. Despite cannabis being legal in the state, police departments — addicted to kicking in doors and robbing peaceful pot growers and seizing their assets — continue to wage a war on this plant and many of the upstanding citizens who grow it. With all the grim news lately in regards to police overreach, it is refreshing to see some of these departments get put in their place. The following story is just that. In January, the Santa Barbara County sheriff’s office along with investigators from the California Department of Food and Agriculture Cal Cannabis and the Department of Fish and Wildlife served a search warrant at an entirely legal and licensed cannabis farm. After they raided entirely peaceful and legal cannabis growers, the sheriff’s office took to  the

In 4 Years in 1 State, 100’s of Cops Charged with Felonies, Like Raping Kids — 0 Have Gone to Jail

In 4 Years in 1 State, 100’s of Cops Charged with Felonies, Like Raping Kids — 0 Have Gone to Jail A review of law enforcement licenses in the state of Texas has found that hundreds of officers were forced to surrender their licenses to avoid or limit prosecution in the past four years — most of which were felonies. A KXAN investigation found that an overwhelming majority of the cases where officers were forced to surrender their license, their badges were used as a bargaining tool to avoid prosecution for serious crimes. KXAN reviewed 297 cases where officers were forced to surrender their badges in Texas between 2015 and 2018 and in almost every case, the police officer was able to avoid serious charges by agreeing to give up their careers in law enforcement. More than half of these charges were felonies and many of them involved violent crimes that were committed both on and off-duty. The in-depth investigation was the result of over 100 public information act requests which

MSM Finally Admits US Cops Kill, Injure, and Cage More People Than Any Other Country on Earth

Image
It took two solid weeks of protests, millions of Americans shouting in the streets, riots, looting, and multiple tragic deaths for the establishment media to finally admit that the United States has the most violent and deadly law enforcement system on the planet. Though they are extremely late to the game, the fact that CNN — whose “reporting”  has been questionable at best  — is admitting this fact, is a telling sign of just how bad things have become. American police shoot, kill and imprison more people than other developed countries. Here’s the data This is the title of the CNN  piece,  unlike any other, we’ve seen before. And it’s accurate. The article brings up numbers from 2016 and compares them to other countries. The United States is magnitudes deadlier than the other countries to which it is compared. A  media review  by the Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) found a total of 1,348 potential arrest-related deaths in the ten months from June 2015 through March 2016 —
