Cops Were Aware of Children in the Car yet Performed a PIT Maneuver Resulting in the Death of a 12-Year-Old Boy Due to a Speeding Ticket

In the land of the free, the police will go to violent and often lethal lengths to uphold even the most arbitrary "law." If police assert that they see you violating one of these arbitrary rules, such as speeding, they claim the authority to arrest and extort you. If you refuse to submit to this extortion, the police will assert their authority to abduct you. And, as the following sad example from Georgia demonstrates, if you fight the abduction, authorities will use lethal force against you, even children. Last week, Charlie Moore was driving his 14-year-old son and 12-year-old buddy Leden Boykins home after a job cleaning parking lots for extra money. On the way home, cops attempted to collect money from Moore by saying he was driving too fast.

Moore was pulled over along Highway 92 in Paulding County for "driving recklessly and at a high rate of speed," and when ordered out of the vehicle for a speeding ticket, he resisted, claiming fear due to a large number of police there. Moore phoned 911 while being pulled over to say that several troopers were threatening him and that he was fearful for his life. And he had every cause to be afraid, as history demonstrates.

“He stated to the 911 operator, 'I need you to send a supervisor out here because there are too many police vehicles and I'm afraid for my life,'" Leden's mother, Toni Boykins, said.

When a trooper on the scene attempted to break through Moore's window, he left the scene to save his life. Throughout the pursuit, he maintained contact with 911, emphasising to them that he was not a danger and just wanted to be in a safer environment.

“I am terrified. I'm terrified for my life," he said to 911. “They need to get them off of me immediately, because I'm frightened and I'm carrying my children.”

Everyone involved, from the 911 operator to the troopers who conducted the stop, was aware of the presence of youngsters in the vehicle. Additionally, they knew who owned the vehicle, the driver's name and address, and could easily have gone to his house after this to execute the penalty for escaping a traffic check for speeding. However, this did not occur. Rather of using logic and reason and allowing Moore to drive home, drop off the children, and then be securely arrested at his house, one state policeman chose to do a PIT Maneuver — on a vehicle he knew was loaded with children — to turn Moore's car over. For the purpose of obtaining a speeding ticket. We can hear the trooper attempting to overturn the vehicle throughout the 911 call, despite Moore's pleas to 911 that he had children in the car.

“I've got my kids with me, man,” Moore said over the phone to authorities. “Oh my God, no, dude, they're attempting to overturn my car.”

Moore stayed connected to dispatch during the trooper's assault, and the vehicle is heard rolling over before Moore screams, "Leden! Leden! Leden! No!" He was aware that Leden had been assassinated. PIT manoeuvres' official policy is very explicit about avoiding accidents involving minors in the car. Nonetheless, troopers determined that enforcing a speeding ticket was more essential than the lives of two youngsters, and they proceeded with the enforcement. Moore has now been charged with Leden's murder, and although he needs to be held responsible for his part in the child's death, he most definitely was not the killer. Leden's family concurs.“He does carry some culpability for being pulled over while driving with children,” Leden's father, Anthony Boykins, told 11 Alive. Additionally, he wanted to know, "Why was he deemed so dangerous that they had to overturn the vehicle with the children inside?" How did he (the soldier) arrive at that conclusion? Why did he decide to overturn the vehicle with children inside?”

Although the trooper who caused the accident is being investigated, this is a normal process and is unlikely to result in any responsibility. For the time being, Leden's parents are battling to reclaim their son from the city, which has been housing his corpse since the accident.
