A Sadistic Cop Is Captured on Camera Stabbing a Handcuffed Man Multiple Times With a Key
It's not the first time the Louisville Metropolitan Police Department has come under fire. The department has been implicated in almost every conceivable plan imaginable, from child sex rings to the mass murder of innocent individuals in their own homes, such as Breonna Taylor. Their flagrant disrespect for the law is obvious, which is why the next event is both startling and predictable.
Officer Robert Jones of the LMPD appeared in court this week after his arrest for assaulting his girlfriend. While domestic violence among police officers is definitely notable, that is not the focus of this essay. Jones should have been jailed far sooner than he was when body camera footage captured an absolutely cruel behavior. Officer Jones' behavior was so unsettling that other cops turned him in after seeing it. Following the officer's arrest, an open records request was made for the body camera video showing Jones stabbing a handcuffed man in the ribs with a key. Jones gets arrested with another cop for allegedly detaining a shirtless guy for unclear reasons. The guy is not protesting in any way, and as he hunches over the police vehicle's hood, Jones takes a large key, jabs it into the man's ribcage, and twists it to purposefully inflict agony and suffering. Then, just for good measure, he repeats it.
“That hurts, dude,” the suspect adds.
“You're going to be fine,” Jones responds.
The guy has no clue what is happening to him other than the fact that he is in excruciating agony.
“What is that?” he exclaims.
Jones' spouse urges him to stop the abuse since it was excessive.
“Jones, come to a halt,” the other officer commands.
According to the open records request, the officer later told investigators from the LMPD Professional Standards Unit that Jones stabbed a guy with a key for no reason, and Jones was subsequently investigated for a use of force violation. “He basically slipped beneath the suspect's right arm and snuck him in, stabbed him in the ribs, and jabbed him,” one cop told PSU investigators, according to WAVE 3. Throughout the inquiry, Jones said that his emotions got the better of him despite the fact that he was not engaged in the pursuit that resulted in the man's arrest.
“I committed a grave error, and I make no effort to explain my actions,” Jones wrote.
Jones is accused of entering a woman's house, putting a pistol to her head, and abusing her for many hours while keeping her in the basement as a prisoner. According to court documents, he is now charged with first-degree burglary, first-degree illegal detention, first-degree wanton endangerment, and fourth-degree domestic violence assault inflicting slight harm. Jones was a serial offender, and a former partner accused him of using violence as well, but Jones was never dismissed. “He has threatened her,” a court-appointed investigator said. “He has shown signs of mental illness toward her. Additionally, he has threatened to set fire to her home.” According to reports, the department took no action on any of this evidence and Jones retained his position until he broke into his ex-house girlfriend's and almost murdered her. This is the crux of the blue privilege issue.
