The cops threaten witnesses that they are attacking, Handcuff, 9yo Girl

Over the years, the Rochester police and their various misdeeds up to and including handcuffing little girls. However, the video below shows Rochester police in a very new and disturbing light. Not only did they handcuff a 9-year-old female child, but they also threw her to the bottomso shoved her within the back of a prowl car while pepper-spraying her within the face.

Over the weekend, police released body camera video of the incident which has subsequently caused massive backlash for the department. in keeping with police, they were responding to a call of “family trouble” on Friday when the incident unfolded.

A total of 9 cops skilled the scene, essentially ensuring an excessive force incident would unfold.

When police showed up, the 9-year-old girl had left the house so that they walked down the road to apprehend and produce her back. However, the girl didn't want to return.

At a press conference Sunday, Deputy policeman Andre Anderson described the girl as suicidal.

“She indicated she wanted to kill herself and she or he wanted to kill her mom,” he said.

When the girl wouldn't get within the car with the police, they began escalating force. it had been a scene corresponding to kidnapping because the girl screams for her father to assist her while her assailants drag her away.

During the struggle, one in all the cops may be heard scolding the girl, telling her to “stop acting sort of a child!”

In a statement Saturday, the local department said this action “required” an official to require the girl right down to the bottom. Then, the department said, “for the minor’s safety and at the request of the custodial parent on the scene,” the kid was handcuffed and put within the back of a motorcar as they waited for an ambulance to arrive.

Police had the audacity to mention within their statement that the girl refused to cooperate and put her legs within the car in order that they had no other choice but to hit her with chemical weapons in the face. an official was then “required” to spray an “irritant” within the handcuffed girl’s face, the department said.

Though the statement said the officer was “required” to aerosol bomb a 9-year-old child, the act was so egregious that policeman Cynthia Herriott-Sullivan declined to defend the officers’ actions. However, she stopped in need of saying the officer will face any consequences for the clear act of kid abuse.

“I’m not visiting stand here and tell you that for a 9-year-old to possess to be pepper-sprayed is OK. It’s not,” Herriott-Sullivan said. “I don’t see that as who we are as a department, and we’re visiting do the work we've got to try to to to make sure that these types of things don’t happen.”

Not only did they spray can the girl within the video, but they also threatened witnesses for doing nothing aside from observing their actions.

“What are you doing? Cause you’re visiting visit jail now too,” a cop is heard telling an innocent bystander.

“It is evident from the video that we'd like to try to more support our youngsters and families,” Mayor Lovely Warren said at a Sunday morning news conference.

“I have a 10-year-old child, so she’s a toddler, she’s a baby. This video, as a mother, isn't anything you wish to work out,” Warren went on to mention.

On top of the psychological effects of such an occurrenceaerosol container on a toddler will be detrimental to the health of a young child, up to and including lung problems like asthma and neurological effects, like nerve or brain damage, per Purvi S. Parikh, an immunologist who makes a specialty of pediatric health at NY University Langone Health.

For people who don’t recall, this is often the identical department that killed Daniel Prude last year.

In the midst of a chemically-induced mental state crisis, Prude was compliant and sat on the bottom when asked by police and placed into handcuffs. Moments later, he’d have a hood placed on his head while cops shoved his face into the pavement repeatedly until he stopped breathing and eventually died.
